People are Impotant

The "Personal Assistant" is indicative of the GBOPS approach. People are important. And we are determined to do better not only in looking after our clients but also in building our relationships with applicants and potential applicants.

The Personal Assistant is a part of a new approach to recruitment being developed by a group of like-minded friends and associates with the support of GBOPS. It is the view of this group that future recruitment will increasingly depend on building a better understanding of what exactly it is that an employer wants in a recruit.

However, perhaps more importantly, will be that the Recruitment Consultant is equally well informed about what it is that the applicant is looking for in terms of job, career and life balance. Doing this, making it possible, requires a big commitment of resources - people, process and systems.

It is the role of GBOPS to manage the research, collection of data, collation of information and the provision of the back office support that makes it possible for front line Consultants to deliver what the employer want whilst, at the same time, working with individuals to support them throughout their careers, not just in matters of employment and training but in overall lifestyle development also.
