We could hardly be a more diverse organisation - from the flat plains of East Anglia to the shores of Guernsey and in Chandigarh where our campus office looks out towards the foothills of the Himalayas. By religion, ethnic background, nationality, gender and personal style our people are as diverse as our locations. Our approach is that in striving to be true professionals we must learn from all of the cultures in which we operate, combine the best of the west with the best of the east in order to the bring the best of all worlds to the service of our customers.
Fortunately, amongst our other experience, one of the key skills vested in GBOPS is that of team building in locations, which are "different". For example in the early 1980's some of our key managers helped recruit, train, house and feed engineering projects in the Arab Gulf some of the largest multinational workforces ever put in place.
Team building and "value for skill" are then part of the culture of GBOPS and makes us extremely well placed to operate in those locations which meet our criteria - a good academic establishment, a well qualified and motivated work force, a well defined and regulated labour market backed by the requisite infrastructure and a forward looking public sector offering political stability. Consequently, additional operational facilities are now in the advanced planning stage and will be located in other time zones and different cultures.
